Tea
Preparing the tea
Start by boiling water in a pot or kettle.
While the water is boiling, grind up the dried shrooms into a fine powder using a coffee grinder or similar tool.
Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and let it cool for about 1 minute. This step is important because you don’t want to burn the mushrooms.
Add the mushroom powder to the tea infuser and steep in hot water for 15-30 minutes.
Now add the tea to tea cups and flavor to taste. Common ingredients are lemon juice, ginger, honey, and even sugar.
Enjoy your tea responsibily!
0.1 to 0.5 grams of psilocybe cubensis – Microdosing is a term used for taking small doses of psychedelics, usually mushrooms. This range is standard during therapeutic treatments and can help long-term. The dosage isn’t enough to create a “high,” but only minimal acute drug effects. A low shrooms dosage of 1 gram still produces some effects such as euphoria and the enhancement of all senses
1.75 grams is known as a medium dose. Medium does of magic mushrooms are known to produce some hallucinogenic effects (mostly visual and sensory) as well as stronger euphoria.
3.5 grams of magic mushrooms is known as a high dose. A high dose of psilocybin shrooms will produce strong visual and sensory distortions.
Any dosage over 3.5 grams should only be used by experienced users and 1UpMaps does not encourage it.

Magic mushrooms are not currently legal, however, they are decriminalized in certain areas. So, while there are certain types of mushrooms that are better for tea than others, it really just comes down to what you have available. Whether you can grow your own or get your hands on some from someone else they should work fine in teas.
Below are some of the common types of psychedelic mushrooms that are encountered.
